Short description: The function of higher plants in planning of city structure, communication route and gardens. The trees and scrubs selections depended of habitat conditions and esthetic requirements of project.
Full description: Selection of trees and shrubs species according to environmental conditions and aesthetic requirements. Popular and new varieties of trees and shrubs used in city. Frost resistance of alien taxa. Poisonous, therapeutic and protected species.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge The student has a theoretical knowledge and practical skill enabling the optimal selection of species and varieties of trees and scrubs for plantings in gardens, alleys, city parks and open landscape. O2_W05, O2_W06 Skills The student can plan trees, scrubs plantings depended of habitat conditions and aesthetic requirements of project. The student has known the principles of species selection in relation to function acting in composition. O2_U06, O2_U07 Social comptences Student understands the influence of projected vegetation on surroundings. He increase his responsibility for introducing of new species into environment.
